About The Position

The Warehouse Associate maintains the supply of products and packaging materials for packaging lines. This role verifies that the correct components and quantities are staged for production, keeps packaging components supplied during operations, and maintains production records and accurate documentation. The associate also checks shipper labels and pallet stacking patterns, moves completed stock to designated areas, and shrink wraps completed production pallets. The role may assist the packaging department with other assigned duties and uses the Ross system.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Good math skills.
Knowledge of and experience working in a production team environment.
Highly motivated, conscientious, self-managed team player.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

College degree preferred.
Computer skills highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Verify that the proper components and quantities have been staged to meet production batch needs.
Communicate discrepancies to minimize the possibility of downtime.
Maintain an adequate supply of packaging components throughout the packaging operation.
Maintain production time records for each packaging line.
Verify that the appropriate, legible shipper label is on each shipper.
Verify that the appropriate pallet stacking pattern is being used.
Move completed skids or containers of stock to designated areas using a pallet jack or industrial lift truck.
Ensure each pallet of completed production is shrink wrapped.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation.
Assist the packaging department with other assigned duties.
Use the Ross system.
