About The Position

The Warehouse Associate - Line Servicer maintains the supply of products and packaging materials needed for packaging lines. The role is based at the plant and reports to the Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager. The stated schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

The position supports packaging operations by verifying staged components and quantities, keeping packaging components available, maintaining production records and documentation, checking shipper labels and pallet stacking patterns, and moving and shrink-wrapping completed production. The associate also assists the packaging department with other assigned duties and uses the Ross system.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good math skills.
• Knowledge of and experience working in a production team environment.
• Highly motivated, conscientious, self-managed team player.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Verify that the correct components and quantities have been staged to meet batch production needs.
• Communicate discrepancies to minimize the possibility of downtime.
• Maintain an adequate supply of packaging components throughout packaging operations.
• Maintain production time records for each packaging line.
• Verify that the appropriate, legible shipper label is on each shipper.
• Verify that the appropriate stacking pattern is used on each pallet.
• Move completed skids or containers of stock to designated areas using a pallet jack or industrial lift truck.
• Ensure each pallet of completed production is shrink-wrapped.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist the packaging department with other assigned duties.
• Use the Ross system.
