About The Position

The Warehouse Associate assists the Warehouse Manager with shipping and receiving, supplies and consumables, daily installation tasks, and building and fleet maintenance. The role is based in Altoona, Iowa, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; hours may vary. Regular in-person attendance and overtime as needed are expected. The approximate pay is $20.00 per hour, with final compensation potentially varying based on background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.

Requirements

• Warehouse experience, including shipping and receiving experience, is preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to log into company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect deliveries for damage, verify quantities and materials against bills of lading and packing slips, document discrepancies, and route goods to the appropriate departments.
• Monitor consumable inventory levels, conduct periodic physical counts, distribute supplies, and ensure trucks are stocked with necessary tools.
• Stage paperwork and materials for upcoming jobs, provide tools and supplies, and deliver parts or materials to job sites as needed.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe; perform light building maintenance and assist with snow and ice removal as needed.
• Follow and promote safety protocols, maintain regular in-person attendance, communicate discrepancies to leadership, and work overtime as needed.
