About The Position

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring full-time Warehouse Associates for its distribution center in East Point, Georgia. Available positions include Material Handler ($19.00 per hour) and Processor ($17.75 per hour). The listed schedules are Wednesday through Saturday, 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with an additional $0.50 per hour, or Monday through Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., with an additional $1.00 per hour.

Warehouse employees maintain production standards and perform merchandise-handling and processing tasks. Duties include handling, stacking, and opening boxes; hanging garments according to store standards and using the correct hangers; checking store and case-pack quantities; picking the correct items and quantities for stores; reporting errors; completing documentation accurately; and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Candidates must meet the stated education and age requirements and be able to keep pace with production standards. The work requires basic reading and numerical skills, problem-solving, manual dexterity, use of listed warehouse equipment, and repetitive physical activity involving cartons or bins weighing approximately 40 to 50 pounds. Virtual interviews require cameras to be on, and candidates may not use AI tools during interviews or assessments. Offers are contingent upon a satisfactory background check, which may include ID verification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic English reading comprehension and numerical reasoning skills.
• Ability to keep pace with production standards.
• Ability to use a tape machine, RF gun, gladiator, and computer.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Manual dexterity.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and repetitively lift cartons or bins weighing approximately 40 to 50 pounds.
• Must not use AI tools during any part of the interview process; cameras must be on during virtual interviews.
• Offer is contingent upon a satisfactory background check, which may include ID verification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production standards in all areas.
• Handle merchandise at the front end, including stacking and opening boxes.
• Verify the correct hanger is used for garments and hang garments according to store standards.
• Verify correct quantities for stores and case packs.
• Pick the correct items and quantities for stores and report errors to a supervisor.
• Complete all documentation neatly and accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
