About The Position

The Warehouse Associate works on The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center’s Operations Team at the Fresno Distribution Center, which supports the Adult Rehabilitation Program. The role involves carrying out warehouse activities and contributing to the program and its participants. The position pays $16.90 per hour. Work schedules are determined by Management, and the employee must remain flexible to ensure adequate coverage. Full-time employees may be scheduled for any full-time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Demonstrated competency in the relevant skill area, as indicated by verifiable training and/or experience.
Ability to read and write and to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist intermittently or continuously.
Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive-motion tasks.
Must be flexible with work schedules to ensure adequate coverage; full-time shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Sort products efficiently and properly according to The Salvation Army’s policies.
Inspect products for defects and damage as part of quality assurance.
Identify products correctly and direct them to the proper department for processing.
Collect merchandise from the distribution center and transport materials safely.
Perform other written or verbal duties assigned by the Production Manager, Administrator, or their designated representative.
