About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a part-time, on-call Driver in Fresno, California. The role pays $17.60 per hour and offers up to 25 hours per week. Drivers meet at 4880 N Blackstone Ave, Fresno, CA 93726, and must have open availability Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They may be called in to work up to four days per week. Enterprise Mobility is a mobility-solutions provider operating the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands, among other services. It is privately held by the Taylor family of St. Louis and, together with Enterprise Fleet Management, manages a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles through more than 9,500 neighborhood and airport rental locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license; operating a motor vehicle is an essential function of the position.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
Must not have interviewed with Enterprise for any position in the last 12 months.
Must have open availability Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

Inspect vehicles to ensure safety equipment—including lights, tires, brakes, wipers, horn, seat belts, mirrors, and back-up lights—is in working order.
Inspect vehicles for unidentified body damage.
Provide positive customer service, including greetings and assistance with luggage and personal belongings where applicable.
Place items found in vehicles in lost and found and direct drivers to drop-off locations as necessary.
Drive vehicles from drop-off points to service areas, through the car wash, and to the ready line as necessary.
Refuel vehicles and log the identification number, fuel needed, and mileage.
Ensure key tags are properly marked with the correct VIN or unit number and license plate number.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
