About The Position

The Warehouse Associate works on the Operations Team at The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center’s Fresno Distribution Center, which supports the Adult Rehabilitation Program. The role performs warehouse activities that contribute to the program and its participants. Responsibilities include sorting products according to Salvation Army policy, inspecting products for defects and damage, identifying products and directing them to the appropriate department, and collecting and safely transporting merchandise and materials. Other written or verbal duties may be assigned by the Production Manager, the Administrator, or their designated representative.

Requirements

Demonstrated competency in the relevant skill area, as indicated by verifiable training and/or experience.
Ability to read and write and to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist intermittently or continuously.
Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive-motion tasks.
Flexibility to work schedules determined by Management; full-time employees may be scheduled for any full-time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
