NIGHT Warehouse Associate (F/T)
About The Position
The NIGHT Warehouse Associate (F/T), also described as a NIGHT Warehouse Loader, loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site. The role is based in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and uses manual handling and equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, and electric pallet jacks. The associate follows work orders or oral instructions, prepares materials for transport, records handled units and any breakage or spoilage, labels and bundles materials, and performs housekeeping and grounds maintenance at the warehouse and sales center offices. Company-provided uniforms and safety equipment are worn. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor. Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or using a forklift, hand truck, or electric pallet jack, as appropriate.
- Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine which materials or containers to move.
- Load materials into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
- Convey materials from storage sites to designated loading areas.
- Count and record the number of units moved or handled and record breakage or spoilage on appropriate sheets.
- Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases and other containers.
- Stack or assemble materials into bundles and wrap bundles together.
- Perform housekeeping and grounds maintenance at the warehouse and sales center offices.
- Wear company-provided uniforms and safety equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
