Warehouse Associate - Pallet Sorter

About The Position
As a Pallet Sorter, you will hand-sort pallets within a distribution facility while maintaining high levels of safety and cleanliness. The role supports the customer’s production operations and involves active, physical work. The position is located in Amsterdam, New York, and pays $19.00 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (1st shift). Relogistics is part of a pallet management services company that provides pallet solutions including supply, retrieval, on-site services, reverse logistics, and packaging materials.
Requirements
- High school degree or GED required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
Responsibilities
- Hand-stack pallets to appropriate heights.
- Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
- Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the distribution center.
- Check loads to make sure they are secure.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Coordinate trailer moves within the yard management system.
- Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
- Communicate regularly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.
