About The Position

As a Pallet Sorter, you will hand-sort pallets in a distribution facility while maintaining high levels of safety and cleanliness. The role supports customer production through active pallet-handling work. The position is located at 1800 North Polk St, Desoto, TX 75115, and pays $18.00 per hour. The scheduled shift is Friday through Sunday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Hand-stack pallets to appropriate heights.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the distribution center.
• Check loads to ensure they are secure.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Coordinate trailer moves within the yard management system.
• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
• Communicate regularly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.
