About The Position
The Pallet Sorter hand-sorts pallets in a distribution facility while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. The role supports customer production through active warehouse work, including handling pallets and materials, checking load security and product quality, coordinating trailer moves, and completing production paperwork. The schedule is Saturday through Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at 2390 E. Freight St, Boise, Idaho. The stated pay is $19.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school degree or GED.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
Responsibilities
- Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights.
- Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
- Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the distribution center.
- Check loads to make sure they are secure.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Coordinate trailer moves within the yard management system.
- Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
- Communicate regularly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.
