About The Position

Parts Authority is seeking a professional, self-motivated Warehouse Associate - Maintenance to join our rapidly expanding team at our Windsor Locks Super-Warehouse. This role is responsible for the upkeep of the facility, including cleaning and maintenance duties, to ensure the building remains in a clean and orderly condition. We are looking for dynamic, career-minded individuals dedicated to this role.

Requirements

Experience as a cleaner.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Good attendance and punctuality.
Great communication skills.
Good time management skills/ability to multi-tasks.
Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10 - 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach.
Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/or stairs) or balance.
May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
Attention to detail.
Time management skills.
Able to work well under pressure.
Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors.
Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time.

Responsibilities

Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, etc.).
Gather and empty trash.
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
Stock and maintain supply rooms.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Miscellaneous projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
