About The Position

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is hiring a Warehouse Associate III (Lead) for its SCM team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role performs general warehouse duties, including receiving, unpacking, checking, and storing merchandise and materials, filling requisitions and orders, and packing, crating, and shipping products and materials to distribution centers, departments, or an assembly line. Duties are to be performed accurately, efficiently, and safely.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Basic knowledge of operating and using warehouse machinery and equipment.
Ability to operate industrial vehicles.
Basic PC skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a group.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and to stoop, bend, reach, twist, and turn.
Ability to stand for 10 hours or more.
Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Load and unload goods and supplies, ensuring proper handling.
Receive merchandise and supplies and verify their accuracy; unpack, sort, and stock inbound receipts.
Pack, label, and tag warehouse inventory appropriately.
Pick and pack dealer orders according to established guidelines and departmental quotas.
Conduct inventory cycle counts and manage daily log registers.
Maintain warehouse quality, track damaged inventory, and report it to supervisors.
Keep the work area clean and ensure inventory is properly stocked.
Understand basic carrier packaging and shipping requirements.
Operate a forklift as required.
Follow warehouse safety regulations and Kaizen / 5S practices.
