Warehouse Associate II - 3rd Shift

About The Position

The Warehouse Associate II assists with inbound or outbound warehouse activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor, meeting quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. The role receives products in the inbound section and ships products from the outbound section. Training is provided starting on the first day, and candidates with little to no warehouse experience are welcome. The work takes place in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and involves routine assignments, moderate supervision, and following established standard operating procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, equivalent, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various warehouse areas.
Ability to learn and apply new information and methods, maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications, and adhere to quality guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Previous material handling equipment (PIT) experience is preferred.
Radio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice-to-pick experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow established Standard Operating Procedures to process orders, including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
Follow directions and adjust priorities while working independently or as part of a team.
Pick large-case items using material handling equipment, or pick small-unit items and place them on designated carts.
Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
Use the Warehouse Management System to check in and/or send out products.
Drive material handling equipment as required by job duties.
Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Work on routine assignments that require problem resolution.
Participate in associate meetings and communicate concerns to management.
Follow site safety regulations, wear required personal protective equipment, and comply with Cardinal Health EHS and QRA policies and procedures.
