About The Position

The Warehouse Associate II supports inbound or outbound warehouse activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor, meeting quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. The role receives products in inbound operations and ships products in outbound operations. Training is provided from the first day, and candidates with little to no warehouse experience are welcome. The position works Wednesday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. and Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., or until work is completed. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts. The pay rate is $23.15 per hour, including shift differential. The role is not bonus eligible.

Requirements

Candidates with little to no warehouse experience are welcome; training is provided starting the first day.
High school diploma, GED, equivalent, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
Ability to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various warehouse areas.

Nice To Haves

Previous material handling equipment (PIT) experience is preferred.
Radio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice-to-pick experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow established Standard Operating Procedures to process orders, including accurately picking, performing quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
Follow directions and adjust priorities while working independently or as part of a team.
Pick large case items using material handling equipment or pick small unit-of-measure items and place them on designated carts.
Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
Use the Warehouse Management System to check in and/or send out products.
Operate material handling equipment as required by job duties.
Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work on routine assignments requiring problem resolution.
Participate in associate meetings and communicate concerns to management.
Follow site safety regulations, wear required personal protective equipment, and comply with Cardinal Health EHS and QRA policies and procedures.
