3rd Shift Warehouse Associate
About The Position
The company is seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Associates for a temporary 3rd-shift position in Union, New Jersey. The role involves picking, sorting, loading, organizing, and preparing products for distribution in a fast-paced refrigerated warehouse. Employees must maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety while keeping work areas clean and organized. The work environment is regularly 30°F–36°F, with occasional freezer exposure as low as -10°F. Employees must provide their own appropriate cold-weather clothing, including warm layers, insulated jackets, gloves, and suitable footwear. Typical hours are 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM or 5:00 AM, depending on operational needs. Compensation is $20.25 per hour.
Requirements
- Previous experience in refrigerated or cold storage warehouses.
- Experience in picking, loading, and/or sorting.
- Ability to perform physically demanding warehouse tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Reliability and attention to detail.
- Comfort working overnight shifts.
- Must provide appropriate cold-weather clothing, including warm layers, insulated jackets, gloves, and suitable footwear.
- Must be prepared to work in temperatures of 30°F–36°F and occasional freezer conditions as low as -10°F.
