Warehouse Associate II - Overnight Shift

About The Position

Safelite’s Fulfillment Center Associate II prepares auto glass for distribution to field operation teams. The role performs warehouse functions to meet shipping timelines and ensure the right parts reach team members who serve customers. Associates handle and inspect items, operate material handling equipment, use handheld scanners, and help maintain a safe, clean work area. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour, plus a shift premium depending on hours worked: $1.50 per hour for hours worked from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and $2.00 per hour for hours worked from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Pay is weekly, on Fridays.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Experience with some material handling equipment, such as a forklift, order picker, or reach truck.
If hired to operate the order picker, must weigh under 300 pounds to comply with equipment specifications and safety regulations.
Comfort working in varying environmental conditions, including seasonal heat or cold, and remaining stationary for long shifts.
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks moving or raising objects weighing up to 35 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Punctuality and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

Operate at least one piece of material handling equipment, such as a forklift, reach truck, or order picker, including equipment raised to heights of up to 40 feet.
Perform daily warehouse tasks, including pallet breakdown and dunnage preparation.
Use handheld RF scanners to receive, pick, ship, or locate inventory.
Follow safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
Maintain a secure and clean work area through general housekeeping.
Build steel pallets and prepare them for inventory replenishment.
Assist with offloading tractor trailers by hand.
Perform other duties as assigned.
