Warehouse Associate II - 3rd Shift

About The Position

The Associate II, Warehouse Operations assists with inbound or outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor, meeting quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. Inbound work includes receiving products; outbound work includes shipping products. The role works on routine assignments under a moderate degree of supervision, follows established procedures and quality guidelines, and refers complex or unusual problems to a supervisor. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. or until completion. Pay is $22.90 per hour, including shift differential. The role is not bonus eligible. The anticipated application window closes October 26, 2026.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various warehouse areas.
Ability to work within established standard operating procedures and quality guidelines, under moderate supervision, and refer complex or unusual problems to a supervisor.

Nice To Haves

Previous material handling equipment (PIT) experience preferred.
Radio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice-to-pick experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow established standard operating procedures to process orders, including picking accurately, conducting quality-control checks, sorting and consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
Follow directions and adjust priorities while working independently or as part of a team.
Pick large-case items using material handling equipment or pick small-unit-of-measure items and place them on designated carts.
Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
Use the Warehouse Management System to check in products and/or send them out.
Operate material handling equipment as required by job duties.
Complete housekeeping and inventory-control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work on routine assignments that require problem resolution.
Participate in associate meetings and communicate concerns to management.
Follow site safety regulations, including wearing required personal protective equipment such as steel-toed safety shoes and material handling equipment safety harnesses, and comply with Cardinal Health EHS and QRA policies and procedures.
Maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications; learn and apply new information and methods to assigned work.
