About The Position

The Warehouse Associate/Generalist uses warehouse equipment and systems to gather, process, receive, stage, and load customer orders and merchandise. The role includes operating a gas forklift and electric pallet jack, using an RF scanner and computer system, securing and wrapping products for shipment, and verifying deliveries and inventory. Regular onsite attendance is an essential function. The schedule generally operates from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment.
At least 1 year of experience operating an electric pallet jack.
At least 1 year of experience using an RF scanner.
Previous experience operating a gas forklift and electric pallet jack.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently.
Ability to stand, walk, pull, and bend continuously throughout the workday in a fast-paced environment.
Organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to use various packing supplies to protect products on pallets for shipping.
Reading and comprehension skills.
Computer exposure.
Strong initiative and self-motivation.
Strong verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Use an RF scanner to identify products to move, gather, or distribute for customer orders.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on pallets, shelves, or conveyor belts for routing to packing or shipping.
Operate a riding powered pallet jack and/or forklift to move products.
Receive processed orders, verify their accuracy, and scan them into the computer system.
Band products securely to pallets according to company standards.
Use machinery to shrink-wrap products on pallets.
Operate a forklift and pallet jack to stage or load products as needed.
Load orders safely and efficiently.
Receive daily merchandise deliveries into the warehouse.
Unload trucks and verify inventory.
Record and report discrepancies or damages.
Perform other duties as assigned.
