Requirements

  • Minimum college diploma (University preferred).
  • Minimum of one to three years of related experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills required; with the ability to read and comprehend SOPs and other written documentation.
  • Able to utilize a personal computer for data entry is required.
  • Strong math skills are required as well as a basic understanding of inventory management and purchasing fundamentals.
  • Good written and verbal communication with various organizational levels is necessary.
  • Demonstrated competencies in CPL’s core values of Integrity, Respect, Trust, and Fairness.
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt, respond quickly and manage change in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge in SAP, Windows, Word, and Excel desired.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all consumable purchasing activities for Danbro site. Responsible for PPE, Warehouse consumables, and office stationery for Meadowpine Site.
  • Responsible for working in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures; properly uses personal protection and safety equipment as required by CPL; reports any injury or illness immediately and notifies CPL of any hazards, unsafe acts or conditions in the workplace.
  • Comply with GMP regulations, SOPS, safety regulations and company policy.
  • Receive and ship small parcel goods (FedEx, UPS, Rabbex, Purolator, etc.). Inform recipients when packages arrive between both campuses. Deliver inter office mail and parcels to recipients.
  • Maintain all receiving information (i.e. Bills of Lading, SAP/Data3 system). Input receiving documents into SAP and prepare batch labels for incoming materials.
  • Prepare weekly report on receiving activities.
  • Resolve quantity adjustments on received materials, receiving dates, missing materials, and work closely with procurement to assure materials are received in timely manner.
  • Investigate and determine the root cause of received inventory discrepancies. Report findings to the Warehouse and Logistics Leader and Inventory Analyst.
  • Performs capacity studies generated through SAP reports for the Warehouse and Logistics Leader on an ongoing basis. Document and chart findings.
  • Contribute to achieving Lean Goals and continuous improvement as well as participate in process improvement projects
  • Act as back up to Traffic Coordinator
  • Other duties as assigned
