About The Position

The Wall Deli Specialist executes day-to-day operations in the Meat Department’s Wall Deli area. The role helps drive and grow department sales while providing customers with memorable service and fresh product offerings. The specialist stocks, orders, and merchandises products, maintains safety and sanitation, and works independently in a fast-paced environment. Team Members are offered opportunities for growth, open communication, recognition, and support for personal well-being.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Be friendly and customer-service oriented; interest in food is a plus.
Customer service, restaurant, barista, food service, grocery, or similar experience is desired.
Be self-motivated, with high attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
Work independently, manage time effectively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Read, understand, and follow verbal and written directions.
Reliably meet the required work schedule and adhere to the company attendance policy.
Internal transfer or promotion candidates must have had no disciplinary action during the previous six months, have their current leader recommend their application and provide an endorsement upon HR's request, and upload a resume and answer all application questions.

Responsibilities

Support the Center Store Team Leader and Meat Department Team Leader with relevant tasks and assignments.
Order, rotate, and stock products.
Maintain excellent in-stock conditions and facing standards.
Merchandise and maintain abundant store displays.
Maintain safety and sanitation throughout the department.
Receive shipments and deliveries.
Keep the warehouse and work area clean and organized.
Provide memorable customer service during daily customer interactions.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
