About The Position

Raley's is hiring a temporary Wall Deli Specialist to carry out day-to-day operations in the Meat Department’s Wall Deli area. The role focuses on driving and growing department sales, providing memorable customer service, and maintaining fresh product offerings and excellent store conditions. The specialist works at a fast pace, pays close attention to safety, and handles stocking, ordering, and merchandising. The position is temporary, with an anticipated end date in early December.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Be friendly and customer-service oriented.
Be self-motivated and attentive to detail, quality, and presentation.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
Work independently, manage time effectively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Read, understand, and follow verbal and written directions.
Reliably meet the required work schedule and adhere to the company attendance policy.
For internal transfer or promotion candidates: have had no disciplinary action during the past six months; obtain a recommendation from the current leader, who must provide an endorsement upon HR’s request; upload a resume and answer all application questions.

Responsibilities

Support the Center Store Team Leader and Meat Department Team Leader with relevant tasks and assignments.
Order, rotate, and stock products.
Maintain excellent in-stock conditions and facing standards.
Merchandise and maintain abundant store displays.
Maintain safety and sanitation throughout the department.
Receive shipments and deliveries.
Keep the warehouse and work area clean and organized.
Provide memorable customer service during daily customer interactions.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
