About The Position

The Wall Decor Operator works in the Imaging Division production area, efficiently handling materials and operating and maintaining equipment with limited assistance. The role produces wall décor according to specifications, monitors quality, prepares products for shipping, and keeps materials, equipment, and work areas organized and clean. The position reports to the Production Supervisor in Greenwood, South Carolina. Cross-training in other production areas may be needed based on business needs.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of work experience in production or manufacturing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented team environment.
Focus on quality and attention to detail.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
Strong communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Press and cut products according to specifications.
Inspect jobs coming off equipment for completeness, accuracy, and defects, and maintain accurate, consistent quality output.
Notify the team lead if quality tolerances reach their upper or lower limits.
Forward completed work to the appropriate departments.
Inspect and prepare products for shipping.
Keep products organized and in the proper location.
Dispose of trash and recycle items in the proper locations.
Clean and maintain products, machines, and work areas.
Determine the materials and supplies needed before beginning production.
Communicate effectively, efficiently, and appropriately with all employees.
Provide basic employee training as needed.
Follow established Environmental/Health/Safety guidelines, including Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
Complete required paperwork according to procedures.
Cross-train in other production areas as business needs require.
Collaborate with the team on ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
