About The Position

The Wall Décor Operator works in the Imaging Division production area, efficiently handling materials and operating and maintaining equipment with limited assistance. The role presses and cuts products to specifications, monitors quality, prepares items for shipping, and keeps products, equipment, and work areas organized and maintained. The position is based in Greenwood, South Carolina, and reports to the Production Supervisor. Cross-training in other production areas may be needed according to business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
At least 3 months of work experience in production or manufacturing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented team environment.
Focus on quality and attention to detail.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Press and cut products according to specifications.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of quality output.
Inspect jobs coming off equipment for completeness, accuracy, and defects.
Notify the team lead when tolerances reach upper or lower quality-standard limits.
Forward completed work to the appropriate departments.
Inspect and prepare products for shipping.
Keep products organized and in their proper locations.
Dispose of trash and recycle items in designated locations.
Clean and maintain products, machines, and work areas.
Determine required materials and supplies before beginning production.
Communicate effectively, efficiently, and appropriately with employees.
Provide basic training to employees as needed.
Follow established Environmental, Health, and Safety guidelines, including personal protective equipment requirements.
Complete paperwork according to procedures.
Cross-train in other production areas as needed based on business needs.
Collaborate with the team on ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
