About The Position

Beverwyck, part of St. Peter’s Health Partners, is an independent senior living community committed to serving fresh ingredients and elegant meal choices in a welcoming, restaurant-style setting. The Wait Staff role supports meaningful dining experiences by providing professional service to residents and helping maintain a warm, respectful dining room environment. This is a part-time, per-diem position on the evening shift. The role offers flexible scheduling and includes meals at the close of the shift. Pay ranges from $16.20 to $23.50, based on experience, skills, education, and location.

Requirements

Ability to read and write at a 6th grade level.
Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous wait staff or customer service experience is preferred, especially in hospitality or healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, timely, and professional table service to residents during mealtimes.
Communicate daily specials and menu offerings clearly and enthusiastically.
Keep tables clean and properly set, and ensure residents feel valued and attended to.
Collaborate with kitchen staff so meals are served correctly and promptly.
Maintain a warm and respectful environment in the dining room.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene.
Follow food service department policies and safety rules.
