About The Position
Eddy Village Green at Beverwyck is seeking a per diem LPN for its two-house, 24-bed greenhouse-style nursing home in Slingerlands, New York. The home consists of two ranch-style houses with 12 residents each, private rooms and bathrooms, and shared family-style kitchen and living/dining areas. Its care approach honors residents’ routines and preferences and emphasizes a relationship-based model involving nurses and the CNAs who manage the houses. The LPN administers medications and treatments, provides clinical guidance to residents and staff, and works with RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure care tasks are completed. The role involves walking between houses on campus to care for assigned residents and assisting with CNA mentorship and oversight. The position is per diem and part-time, with a rotating shift listed. Pay is up to $29.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education.
Requirements
- Valid New York State LPN license.

Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments for 24 elders.
- Act as a coach and provide guidance for clinical needs of elders living in the home.
- Work as part of a team with RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure tasks are completed as needed.
- Walk between houses on campus to cover residents assigned to their care.
- Assist in mentoring and overseeing CNA staff; LPNs assist in this role in addition to RNs.
