About The Position

A Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Server Administrator configures, maintains, and troubleshoots enterprise audio-visual and video streaming infrastructure. They ensure high availability for virtual meetings, apply security compliance patches, and provide Tier II/III technical support for hardware like codecs, multipoint control units (MCUs), and UC managers.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on VTC or systems administration experience.
• Deep understanding of Cisco, Polycom, or similar AV/VTC codecs and infrastructure, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), and control tools like Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS).
• Requires Minimum Active DoD Secret clearance
• DoD 8570 compliance (such as CompTIA Security+ or CCNA)

Nice To Haves

• Risk Management Framework experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, patch, and monitor enterprise VTC and VoIP systems, ensuring seamless performance and uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, audio, and video issues, minimizing downtime for daily operations.
• Assist VIPs and leadership with conference setups, active meeting monitoring, and equipment orientation.
• Enforce organizational IA policies by performing vulnerability scans and applying cybersecurity compliance configurations (e.g., DISA STIGs).
• Manage hardware lifecycles, recommend technology refreshes, and maintain updated network and capability diagrams.
