About The Position

The VTC Facilitator operates video teleconferencing services at the Ft. Meade Headquarters. The role requires a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance and involves supporting users and live presentations through broadcast, video, audio, streaming, and VTC technologies. The facilitator provides troubleshooting, basic maintenance, customer support, and operational assistance in Windows and Macintosh environments.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of audio-visual experience.
• TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.
• In-depth understanding of broadcast audio and video, multimedia, VTC systems, and video and audio streaming technologies and standards.
• Familiarity with GVS structure, operations, policies, and procedures.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams in an enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with Department of Defense VTC structure, operations, policies, and procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical, and maintenance skills.
• Computer skills in Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate video teleconferencing services at Ft. Meade Headquarters.
• Troubleshoot audio-visual issues before, during, and after live presentations.
• Perform basic audio-visual maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Provide daily customer support and communicate effectively with end users.
• Coordinate and manage client schedules, establish multiparty VTC conferences, resolve schedule conflicts, and ensure facility readiness as needed.
• Maintain the facility and contract workspace in a professional, clean, and ready-to-use condition.
• Ensure facility equipment is operational, report downtime immediately to the Control Center, and track maintenance and repairs through completion.
