About The Position

By Light Professional IT Services LLC is hiring Video Teleconferencing operators to provide daily operations at Ft. Meade Headquarters. The position requires a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance. Operators support broadcast and VTC systems, video and audio streaming, and Microsoft Teams in an enterprise environment. They troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on audio-visual equipment and work directly with end users, providing customer service and communicating clearly in writing and orally.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of Audio Visual experience.
TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.
In-depth understanding of broadcast audio and video, multimedia, VTC systems, video and audio streaming technologies, and standards.
Familiarity with GVS structure, operations, policies, and procedures.
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams in an enterprise environment.
Familiarity with DOD VTC structure, operations, policies, and procedures.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Solid technical and maintenance skills for audio-visual troubleshooting and basic maintenance.
Computer skills in both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Outstanding customer service skills and daily personal contact with end users.

Nice To Haves

Coordinate and manage client schedules, establish multiple-party VTC conferences, de-conflict customer schedules, and ensure facility readiness as needed.
Maintain the facility and contract workspace in a professionally clean and customer-ready condition.
Ensure facility equipment is operational; promptly report equipment downtime to the Control Center and track maintenance response and repair through completion.
