About The Position

FUNDINGO is hiring a VP of Operations and Delivery to lead execution across client implementations and the managed-services portfolio. This hands-on player-coach role oversees project health, capacity planning, delivery processes, team performance, and client escalations, while remaining ready to step into at-risk engagements when needed. As the company serves larger and more complex customers, this leader will build structure, accountability, and predictability into delivery while avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy. The role leads active implementations and managed-services engagements; manages and coaches project managers and implementation team members; and owns capacity planning, resource allocation, delivery cadences, and escalation management. It standardizes core delivery practices and strengthens scope management, documentation, tools, processes, and performance metrics. The VP partners with Solutions and Enablement, Sales, Product, Engineering, and QA to support customer engagements and resolve delivery dependencies and blockers. FUNDINGO is a Salesforce-native loan management platform serving lenders and organizations with complex lending operations. Its configurable implementations require coordination among customers, project managers, implementation resources, product experts, engineering, QA, and third-party vendors. This is a full-time role in a fully remote environment with a distributed team. The compensation package is based on experience and market.

Requirements

  • Experience leading a Professional Services, implementation, or client-delivery function in a complex SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • Direct responsibility for a portfolio of concurrent customer implementations.
  • Experience managing project managers, implementation consultants, or similar client-delivery professionals.
  • Strong capability in capacity planning, resource allocation, portfolio management, and prioritization.
  • Working knowledge of requirements gathering, implementation planning, scope management, UAT, go-live, and post-launch support.
  • Experience managing difficult client situations and coaching teams through delivery challenges.
  • Ability to create accountability without personally carrying every project.
  • Track record of building practical operating processes that teams consistently use.
  • Comfort working as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator in an evolving environment.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, QA, and technical implementation teams.
  • Clear communication, strong client presence, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in lending, fintech, financial software, Salesforce, or other highly configurable enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the portfolio of active implementations and managed-services engagements, tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, commitments, and next steps.
  • Manage and coach project managers and implementation team members, setting expectations and holding owners accountable for delivery.
  • Own capacity planning and resource allocation across project managers, implementation resources, and shared specialists.
  • Establish and run portfolio reviews, project-health reviews, resource-planning cadences, and escalation management.
  • Identify delivery risks early and step into at-risk projects or client escalations when needed.
  • Standardize project planning, status reporting, action tracking, requirements handoffs, UAT, go-live, and post-launch transitions.
  • Partner with Solutions and Enablement to ensure engagements receive appropriate product expertise and solution guidance.
  • Collaborate with Sales on scoping, implementation feasibility, customer handoffs, and upcoming resource demand.
  • Work with Product, Engineering, and QA to address technical dependencies, release risks, and delivery blockers.
  • Strengthen scope and change-order management so timeline and commercial implications are addressed early.
  • Build documentation, tools, processes, and performance metrics to improve delivery predictability and scalability.
  • Improve knowledge transfer to prevent individual subject-matter experts from becoming permanent bottlenecks.

Benefits

  • 100% of employee medical and dental premiums covered.
  • 401(k) with maximum match, vested as you go.
  • 15 paid holidays per year.
  • Competitive compensation package based on experience and market.
  • Significant growth potential as FUNDINGO scales.
  • Opportunity to take meaningful ownership, work directly with company leadership, and shape a growing function.
