About The Position

Carefeed is hiring a VP of Marketing to build and own its marketing function, with brand strategy and lead generation as core priorities. Reporting to the Head of Growth, this person will develop the existing work across product education, content, and events into a demand generation engine with measurable pipeline contribution. The role will establish Carefeed’s brand voice and channel strategy for the post-acute ecosystem, and build thought leadership that earns the trust of senior living operators and owners before sales conversations begin. The VP of Marketing will set marketing strategy, lead and grow the marketing function, and work directly with the Head of Growth and commercial team to align marketing with pipeline goals and BDR outreach. The position is remote. Carefeed describes itself as a fast-growing startup serving senior living and long-term care communities with a platform that connects teams, families, and residents and helps reduce manual work.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of marketing experience.
  • At least 2–3 years in a senior leadership role owning marketing strategy end to end.
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling a demand generation function, with defensible lead-generation and pipeline-contribution results.
  • Experience building a marketing function from a limited or early-stage base.
  • Strong people leadership instincts and ability to build and grow a marketing team.
  • Comfort operating at a fast-growing, venture-backed startup where processes are still being built.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • B2B SaaS or healthcare technology background.
  • Experience in senior living, long-term care, or adjacent healthcare services.
  • Experience creating thought-leadership-led rather than pitch-led marketing programs, ideally in a relationship-driven or trade-association-anchored industry.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own Carefeed’s demand generation engine, with measured pipeline contribution as the primary success metric.
  • Develop the marketing strategy, including channel mix, lead volume and quality, and conversion into sales pipeline.
  • Lead and grow the marketing function, identifying capabilities to add as the function scales.
  • Own activation and presence across AHCA/NCAL and state association channels, including the conference and events calendar, as a lead-generation channel.
  • Build an ROI-led content and thought leadership program that earns credibility with senior living operators and owners before sales conversations.
  • Partner with the Head of Growth and commercial team to align marketing output with pipeline goals and BDR outreach.
  • Own brand positioning and messaging, and ensure consistency across web, content, and events.
  • Build marketing measurement practices that connect campaigns and content to leads, pipeline, and revenue outcomes.
  • Evaluate and establish the marketing technology and processes required for a scaling go-to-market motion.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) plan.
  • Paid vacation and sick time.
  • Company-paid holidays.
  • Opportunities for career growth and development.
