About The Position

Time Doctor is seeking a VP of Marketing to lead pipeline and revenue generation for its hybrid product-led and sales-led SaaS business. This role involves building and scaling marketing as an AI-first function, reporting directly to the CEO. The company is a profitable, global SaaS provider with an established customer base, two revenue streams, and a new AI product launching soon. The VP will work closely with the CRO and growth team, leading a lean, high-performance team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, including senior leadership across multiple marketing functions.
  • Experience running marketing in a hybrid product-led + sales-led model.
  • Experience bringing a new product to market, including positioning, launch, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Experience serving more than one major market, including global/international audiences.
  • Direct, measurable ownership of pipeline, cost of acquisition, and revenue contribution.
  • Hands-on AI builder: personally designed and deployed agent workflows and automation in marketing operations.
  • Experience leading lean, remote teams across time zones, effective both live and async.
  • Resourceful operator: experience building growth without waiting for the perfect budget or team size.
  • Comfortable hands-on with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics.
  • HubSpot experience strongly preferred.
  • Based in North America, with working hours that overlap Eastern Time.

  • Background in workforce analytics, workforce/talent management, HR tech, or productivity software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all of marketing, including demand generation, content, brand, product, customer, and partner marketing.
  • Own and manage both the self-serve (product-led growth) and sales-led revenue funnels, including the handoffs between them.
  • Develop and implement an AI-first marketing operating model, designing, building, and orchestrating AI agents for daily operations.
  • Set marketing strategy in collaboration with the CEO and CRO, and execute alongside the team as a player/coach.
  • Drive new business and expansion pipeline for the sales team, and generate high-quality PQLs (Product Qualified Leads) for the self-serve funnel.
  • Manage direct accountability for cost of acquisition.
  • Develop and execute a unified go-to-market strategy across both sales-led and self-serve motions.
  • Define and manage Time Doctor's global positioning and differentiation in a competitive market.
  • Build and manage a content engine to drive organic growth, SEO, and support other marketing functions.
  • Lead product marketing efforts, including positioning, launches, and sales enablement for new products.
  • Develop and execute customer marketing programs for expansion, lifecycle management, advocacy, and Net Revenue Retention.
  • Develop and execute partner marketing programs, including co-marketing, enablement, and campaigns with integrations, resellers, and affiliates.
  • Embed AI agents and automation into daily marketing operations (demand gen, conversion, content, campaign ops, personalization, analysis, reporting).
  • Hire, develop, and lead a lean, remote team across multiple time zones, fostering AI fluency.
  • Manage the marketing budget, including spend across channels, funnels, markets, contractors, freelancers, and the martech stack.
  • Collaborate with the CRO on pipeline working sessions.
  • Review PQL routing experiments with the Growth team.
  • Ship AI agent workflows and teach the team to build and scale their own agentic teams.
  • Oversee and optimize homepage conversion flows.
  • Inspect funnel performance and lead GTM leaders in brainstorming solutions.
  • Conduct live collaboration during Eastern Time hours and manage async updates for global teammates.
  • Report pipeline, CAC, and funnel conversion metrics to senior leadership.
