About The Position

Time Doctor is hiring a VP of Marketing to own the pipeline and revenue funnels that fuel growth across a hybrid product-led and sales-led business. This is a profitable, global SaaS company with an established customer base (10k+ customers), two working revenue motions (PLG + Sales-Led), and a next-generation AI product headed to market. The role has a mandate to build marketing as an AI-first function from the ground up. The VP will report to the CEO, work closely with the CRO and growth team, and lead a lean team built for speed and leverage, not headcount. Time Doctor is a workforce analytics platform that provides distributed teams the visibility they need to improve trust and performance. They serve remote, hybrid, and outsourced/shared services organizations worldwide, especially in BPO, healthcare, and tech services. The company is bootstrapped, profitable, and fully remote, with about 125 people across 30+ countries. The VP will lead all of marketing — demand generation, content, brand, product, customer and partner marketing — as one integrated function with one job: both revenue funnels full, always. This role is unique due to its hybrid motion (self-serve and sales-led funnels) and its AI-first operating model, requiring the leader to design and orchestrate AI agents and embed them in daily operations. The role is a player/coach, setting strategy with the CEO and CRO, and executing alongside the team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, including senior leadership across multiple marketing functions.
  • Experience running marketing in a hybrid product-led + sales-led model, with detailed understanding of self-serve conversion and sales pipeline generation, and how they reinforce each other.
  • Experience bringing a new product to market, leading positioning, launch, and go-to-market for a significant new product or product generation.
  • Experience serving more than one major market, including global/international audiences, with localized positioning, channels, and campaigns across regions.
  • Direct, measurable ownership of pipeline, cost of acquisition, and revenue contribution.
  • Hands-on AI builder: personally designed and deployed agent workflows and automation in marketing operations, with knowledge of the relevant stack and demonstrable outcomes.
  • Led lean, remote teams across time zones, effective both live and async.
  • Resourceful operator: experience building growth without waiting for the perfect budget or team size.
  • Comfortable hands-on with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics.
  • HubSpot experience strongly preferred.
  • Based in North America, with working hours that overlap Eastern Time.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in workforce analytics, workforce/talent management, HR tech, or productivity software.
  • Experience marketing to BPO/outsourcing, healthcare, or tech services buyers.
  • Experience selling to mid-market customers with a global footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Own filling both revenue funnels — New Business & Expansion pipeline for the sales team, and high-quality PQLs (engaged, ICP-fit trials) for the self-serve funnel, with direct accountability for cost of acquisition.
  • Develop and execute one integrated go-to-market strategy across two motions (self-serve and sales-led), deciding how budget, channels, and messaging split to fill both funnels with quality revenue.
  • Define and manage global positioning and differentiation across multiple major markets and ICP segments.
  • Oversee the brand and content engine to drive organic growth, SEO/GEO, and support all other marketing functions.
  • Lead product marketing efforts, including positioning, launches, and sales enablement, particularly for the next-generation AI product.
  • Develop and execute customer marketing strategies, including expansion campaigns, lifecycle programs, advocacy, and customer stories to drive Net Revenue Retention.
  • Build and manage partner marketing programs, including co-marketing, partner enablement, and campaigns to leverage the partner ecosystem for revenue.
  • Design and implement the AI-first operating model, embedding agents and automation in daily marketing operations (demand gen, conversion, content, campaign ops, personalization, analysis, reporting).
  • Hire, develop, and lead a lean, remote team across multiple time zones, fostering their AI fluency.
  • Manage the marketing budget across channels, funnels, and markets, including contractors, freelancers, and the martech stack.
  • Collaborate with the CRO on pipeline working sessions and with the Growth team on PQL routing experiments.
  • Ship AI agent workflows that drive marketing outcomes and teach the team to build and scale their own agentic teams.
  • Inspect the funnel and identify issues for brainstorming with GTM leaders.
  • Report pipeline, CAC, and funnel conversion to the Senior Leadership team.
  • Participate in the upside through competitive compensation tied to company outcomes.
  • Report directly to the CEO (a prior CMO) with a seat at the leadership table.
  • Bring a next-generation AI product to market, writing the launch playbook.
  • Build the AI-first marketing playbook from the front.
  • Work with talented people in 30+ countries in a fully remote and flexible environment.
  • Travel to various locations for work and collaboration.
