About The Position

As the Vice President of Commercial, you will be responsible for executing a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with our organizational goals. You will lead and create the training curriculum and communicate the expectations to the field team. The VP of Commercial will gather information from launch partners to judge the success of our commercial strategy, implement changes if necessary, and communicate the need to pivot to senior leadership, should the need arise. You will develop and lead a high-performing sales team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to effectively promote Lasix® ONYU within healthcare systems and IDNs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Advanced Degree) or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial roles within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, with a focus on the cardiovascular space.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate and communicate technical/scientific concepts to key stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successful sales leadership and achieving revenue targets within healthcare systems and IDNs.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including trends in value-based care and integrated healthcare delivery.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with PhRMA & Sunshine Act Reporting requirements.
  • Candidates must possess the ability to operate in compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and cloud-based systems.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Implement a robust commercial strategy targeting healthcare systems and IDNs to drive market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on delivering results in a competitive landscape.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats; utilize insights to inform commercial strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within healthcare systems and IDNs to adopt Lasix® ONYU and influence their communities to do the same.
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Quality and Technical teams to align commercial efforts.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives, adjusting as necessary to meet targets.
  • Ensure all commercial activities comply with industry regulations and company policies, maintaining the highest ethical standards.
  • Manage market access efforts across assigned territory.
  • Coordinate IDN traction with corresponding regional health plan strategies.
  • All other duties as assigned.
