About The Position

SharkNinja is seeking a visionary leader to own and architect the future of social commerce, with a primary focus on TikTok Shop in the Americas. This high-visibility role reports directly to the SVP, Global Direct to Consumer and is responsible for defining global strategy, building infrastructure, and driving Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) across TikTok Shop in the Americas. The scope extends to setting the global direction for live commerce, social affiliate programs, and new market launches across various social platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube Social Commerce. The role involves owning TikTok Shop across the Americas, encompassing affiliate strategy, live selling operations, creator activation, product prioritization, and promotional architecture. It also requires building and scaling live commerce capabilities, developing a TikTok Shop playbook for global adoption, and maintaining a direct partnership with TikTok for early access to new features and opportunities. Globally, the VP will define and execute the social commerce strategy, integrating organic, paid, creator commerce, and shoppable content. This includes owning the annual and quarterly planning cycle, setting KPIs, allocating investments, and establishing global standards for live streaming and social commerce. The role also involves identifying, piloting, and scaling new platform opportunities. Furthermore, the position leads the global strategy and launch framework for new social commerce market entries, partnering with regional leads to ensure successful setups and building a repeatable market launch playbook. A key responsibility is building and leading a global creator commerce ecosystem, defining creator tiering, commission structures, and performance incentives to maximize ROI and optimize both brand-building and direct commerce conversion. Cross-functional leadership is crucial, serving as the executive point of contact for social commerce business reviews and partnering with various teams (Brand, Performance Media, Retail, DTC, Finance, NPD) to embed social commerce in go-to-market plans. The role requires aligning regional leaders to global strategy while empowering local adaptation. Finally, the VP will own the global measurement framework, including GMV, ROAS, conversion rate, affiliate attribution, and audience growth, with a focus on enabling real-time decisions. A continuous test-and-learn agenda will be essential to advance SharkNinja's social commerce maturity.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience owning and managing a $100M+ P&L, with direct accountability for revenue targets, investment allocation, and commercial outcomes.
  • 12+ years in social commerce, digital commerce, or performance marketing with meaningful P&L or revenue ownership.
  • Proven, hands-on TikTok Shop expertise—affiliate programs, live selling, creator ecosystem development, preferably with Americas market depth.
  • Track record of building creator or affiliate commerce programs that generate measurable, attributable revenue at scale.
  • Experience designing and executing market launch strategies for new geographies or platforms.
  • Commercial instincts that translate to GMV, conversion rates, and LTV—not just reach and engagement.
  • Experience in high-growth consumer products, CPG, or lifestyle categories (electronics, beauty, home preferred).
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership; able to influence and align at the ELT level.
  • Global experience with the ability to set strategy centrally while enabling regional execution.
  • Builder mentality—you've stood up teams, infrastructure, and programs from scratch before.

Responsibilities

  • Own TikTok Shop across the Americas: affiliate strategy, live selling operations, creator activation, product prioritization, and promotional architecture.
  • Build and scale our live commerce capability across the Americas: cadence, on-screen talent, and real-time performance optimization.
  • Develop a TikTok Shop playbook rooted in Americas performance that can be adopted and localized by regional teams in non-Americas markets.
  • Maintain a direct partnership with TikTok to access new features, beta programs, and co-marketing opportunities before anyone else.
  • Define and execute the full global social commerce strategy across platforms, integrating organic, paid, creator commerce, and shoppable content into one consumer journey.
  • Own the annual and quarterly planning cycle: channel-level beacons, KPIs, and investment allocation tied directly to revenue targets.
  • Set global strategic direction for live streaming and social commerce, establishing standards, best practices, and performance benchmarks that all regions operate against.
  • Identify, pilot, and scale new platform opportunities with speed and discipline.
  • Lead the global strategy and launch framework for new social commerce market entries defining the sequencing, platform prioritization, and go-to-market approach for SharkNinja's expansion of social commerce stores into new geographies.
  • Partner with regional leads to ensure new market launches are set up with the right infrastructure, creator ecosystems, and commercial targets from day one.
  • Build a repeatable market launch playbook that reduces time-to-revenue in each new geography.
  • Build and lead a high-performing global creator commerce ecosystem recruiting and activating affiliates at scale with frameworks that drive attributable GMV.
  • Define global creator tiering, commission structures, and performance incentives that maximize ROI across all markets.
  • Separate brand-building creator value from direct commerce conversion—and optimize both.
  • Partner with regional teams to localize affiliate programs while maintaining global consistency in measurement and performance standards.
  • Serve as the ELT-facing executive for social commerce business reviews, investment cases, and quarterly performance readouts.
  • Partner with Brand, Performance Media, Retail, DTC, Finance, and NPD teams to embed social commerce in every GTM plan.
  • Align regional leaders to global strategy while empowering them to adapt for cultural and platform nuance outside the Americas.
  • Own the global measurement framework: GMV, ROAS, conversion rate, affiliate attribution, and audience growth—with dashboards that enable real-time decisions.
  • Build a continuous test-and-learn agenda that pushes SharkNinja's social commerce maturity forward quarter over quarter.
