The Orange County Registrar of Voters (ROV) is seeking applicants for the Vote Center Supervisor/ Election Section Supervisor (Extra Help) position. These are temporary/seasonal positions, not permanent. They will often require overtime, including evenings and weekends. The ROV is responsible for conducting elections, verifying petitions, and maintaining voter records in Orange County, serving 1.9 million registered voters. The department has 54 full-time employees and numerous extra-help employees. The Vote Center Supervisor/Election Section Supervisor will be assigned to supervise various Vote Centers throughout the County for the November 2026 General Election. This recruitment may also be used to fill other positions within the agency in lower classifications. These temporary positions will be for the period of Monday, October 19, 2026, through Wednesday, November 4, 2026 (including weekends). Incumbents must complete 3 days of paid training prior to the scheduled start date. Dates are subject to change. This position requires a flexible schedule, and the candidate must be able to work overtime, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
