About The Position

Prep Network is seeking a Prep Dig Showcase Director to organize and operate a youth volleyball showcase in the DMV area. The director will execute the event, serve as the face of the event operations team, and uphold the company’s standard for first-class showcases. Prep Network provides tools, training, and resources to support an elite experience for participants. The director will collaborate with the office-based event operations team on pre-event planning, including gathering supplies, handling print orders, and organizing participants onto courts. On event day, the director will coordinate with venues and staff to manage check-in, the event schedule, and wrap-up, communicate with staff and facility contacts, and troubleshoot on-site issues. This is a single-session event scheduled for December 5, 2026, at Michael & Son Sportsplex at Rockville. Estimated on-site hours are 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Pay is $575 for the event.

Requirements

Strong organization skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize competing priorities.
Ability to make decisions under pressure and solve problems on the fly.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Experience working with and managing groups of 10 or more people.
Must have a laptop or iPad and be proficient with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and similar tools.

Nice To Haves

Experience running showcase events with 50 to 200 participants is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the event operations team to organize pre-event details and checklists.
Pick up event supplies, manage print orders, and organize participants onto courts.
Work with venues and staff to run check-in, the event schedule, and event wrap-up.
Communicate with event staff, including facility contacts.
Troubleshoot issues that arise on-site during the event.
