About The Position
Prep Network is seeking a Volleyball Showcase Director to organize and operate youth volleyball tournaments and showcases. The director is responsible for executing events and serving as the face of the event operations team, upholding the company’s first-class showcase standards and creating an elite experience for participants using provided tools, training, and resources. This single-session event is scheduled for December 12, 2026, at Winter Park Volleyball Club in Orlando, Florida. Estimated on-site hours are 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize competing priorities.
- Proven ability to make decisions under pressure and solve problems on the fly.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience working with and managing groups of 10 or more people.
- Must have a laptop or iPad and be proficient with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and similar tools.
Nice To Haves
- Experience running showcase events with 50 to 200 participants is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the event operations team to organize event details and preparation checklists.
- Pick up event supplies, manage print orders, and organize participants onto courts.
- Work with venues and staff to run check-in, the event run of show, and event wrap-up.
- Communicate with event staff, including facility contacts.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise on-site during the event.
