About The Position
EyeCare Associates of East Texas is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Vitreoretinal Surgeon to join its multi-specialty ophthalmology practice in Tyler, Texas. The position is an opportunity to expand and grow the practice’s footprint, with additional patient volume available. The practice includes five ophthalmologists and five optometrists specializing in general ophthalmology, glaucoma, retina, and cornea/external disease. The busy practice has three satellite offices and a large optometric referral network. Its 33,000-square-foot facility includes an optical shop, a hearing center, specialized testing equipment, and support staff across departments. An adjacent, recently completed single-specialty ambulatory surgery center is also available. The surgeon will join a practice focused on clinical excellence and efficient, patient-centered care, with opportunities to participate in clinical trials and provide cutting-edge treatments. The practice offers an established referral network and peer network. The role is located in Tyler, Texas, a city about 90 minutes from Dallas.
