About The Position

Rooms To Go is seeking a Visual Merchandiser for its showrooms. The role partners with store management, other departments, and the Regional Visual Merchandiser to create and maintain showroom presentations and merchandise flow. Reliable transportation is required to travel within the area of responsibility and to assist other Designers when needed. Hours may be flexible, ranging from 30 to 40 hours depending on location.

Requirements

At least 2 years of visual merchandising experience.
Ability to create and maintain consistent visual and merchandise presentations in accordance with company standards manuals.
Ability to follow verbal and written direction from the Regional Visual Merchandiser and implement directives with minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation within the area of responsibility and/or region.
Ability to work independently, with a strong work ethic, professional presentation, excellent communication skills, and solid customer service skills.
Ability to lift and move furniture weighing 50 pounds or more within the store.
Excellent mobility, including bending, lifting, stooping, climbing, and pushing.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Regional Visual Merchandiser to develop and maintain merchandise counts and flow for each store in the area of responsibility.
Establish open and professional communication with store management teams.
Create and maintain the visual presentation of the showroom.
Coordinate furniture and accessory placement in accordance with company standards.
Organize and implement floor moves.
Hang artwork and mirrors.
Assist other Designers when needed.
