About The Position

Rooms To Go is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to create and maintain showroom presentations. The role partners with store management, other departments, and the Regional Visual Merchandiser, and may require travel within the assigned area and assistance to other Designers. Hours may be flexible and range from 30 to 40 per week, depending on location. The position requires reliable transportation and the ability to lift and move furniture weighing 50 pounds or more, as well as frequent mobility involving bending, lifting, stooping, climbing, and pushing.

Requirements

At least 2 years of visual merchandising experience.
Ability to create and maintain consistent visual and merchandise presentations in accordance with company standards manuals.
Ability to follow verbal and written direction from the Regional Visual Merchandiser and implement directives with minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation within the assigned area and/or region.
Ability to work independently, with a strong work ethic, professional presentation, excellent communication skills, and solid customer service skills.
Ability to lift and move furniture weighing 50 pounds or more.
Excellent mobility, including bending, lifting, stooping, climbing, and pushing.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Accessory and/or furniture retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Regional Visual Merchandiser to develop and maintain merchandise counts and flow for stores in the assigned area.
Establish open and professional communication with store management teams.
Create and maintain showroom visual presentations.
Coordinate furniture and accessory placement according to company standards.
Organize and implement floor moves.
Hang artwork and mirrors.
Travel within the assigned area and assist other Designers when needed.
