About The Position

The Visual Merchandiser works with the General Manager, Visual Merchandising Manager(s), and Director of Retail Visuals to create, implement, and execute merchandising strategies that improve product effectiveness, brand image, and sell-through. As the store’s product-merchandising storyteller, this role drives the customer experience through detailed standards and impactful product imagery. The position is based in Hawaii and is full-time, with compensation of $24.00–$26.00 per hour. Kith career opportunities are fully on site.

Requirements

Open and flexible availability, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Availability to consistently work weekends and support special projects, drops/releases, or other business needs.
2–3 years of management experience in a customer-facing role.
2+ years of experience in a merchandising- or visual-focused role.
Effective and thorough communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
Efficient time-management skills.
Ability to lift and move 25 pounds.
Ability to perform standard retail tasks, including bending, twisting, and climbing ladders or step stools.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience with Google Suite, including Slides, Docs, and Sheets; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for the look and feel of the store and all departments.
Partner with the General Manager and Visual Merchandising Manager to merchandise the store and update displays daily or weekly.
Implement and execute visual merchandising directives from the General Manager, Visual Merchandising Manager, and/or Director of Retail Visuals.
Lead visual training and educational moments for the store team.
Work closely with the stock team to ensure products reach the sales floor in a timely manner.
Conduct weekly walkthroughs with management to analyze and improve visual moments to better affect overall business.
Maximize store space and layout based on assigned SKU management.
Partner with the General Manager, Visual Merchandising Manager, and Director of Retail Visuals to develop new visual store ideas.
Assist the store management team with housekeeping, including dusting, sweeping, collecting trash, and other standard retail tasks.
Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and other inventory management tasks as required.
Travel to support other stores as required by the business.
