About The Position

Bungalow, a 12,000-square-foot, multi-million-dollar retail store selling furniture, accessories, art, and clothing, is seeking a seasoned full-time visual merchandiser. The role requires experience in visual merchandising within the mid- to higher-end home goods industry and familiarity with clothing merchandising. The successful candidate will understand current interior design trends for a Southwest location and bring strong retail business skills and high energy to a fast-paced store. Because merchandise sells directly from the sales floor, the role involves extensive movement and daily visual changes to merchandise. The position is primarily Monday through Friday, with flexibility to help on some weekends. Heavy lifting is required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of visual merchandising experience within the mid- to higher-end home goods industry.
• Familiarity with clothing merchandising.
• Knowledge of current interior design trends for a Southwest location.
• Ability to work and think independently in a very fast-paced environment.
• Ability to execute visual plans with minimal direction while adhering to the brand and style.
• Fashionable and creative.
• Adaptable to change, quick-thinking, and able to pivot daily.
• Team player, hard worker, approachable, and receptive to feedback.
• Able to perform heavy lifting.
• Flexible to help on some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Execute visual plans with minimal direction while following the store’s brand and style.
• Move and visually change merchandise on the sales floor daily.
• Help on some weekends as needed.
