About The Position

Under the direction of the Visual Manager, the Visual Merchandise Associate creates an engaging visual environment in the store and supports visual initiatives. The role includes merchandising the sales floor, creating appropriate window displays, and changing mannequin apparel in accordance with Neiman Marcus merchandising and visual standards. The associate also helps prepare the selling floor before opening, supports promotional and sale presentations, and assists with merchandise replenishment and event setups.

Requirements

At least 2 years of visual team experience in a major multi-level department store.
A portfolio of previously created projects.
Ability to use carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
Experience with painting techniques and basic production, including knowledge of materials.
Experience with styling and fashion pulls.
Strong knowledge of current fashion and art trends.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare the selling floor before store opening, demonstrating initiative and urgency.
Follow directives and corporate guidelines from the Visual Manager and Corporate Visual team.
Set up promotions and sales, including presentation, lettering, and sales-floor signage.
Assist the Sales Support Team with trunk shows and personal appearance setups and preparation.
Help replenish merchandise on the selling floor and in wall units.
Merchandise the floor, create window displays, and change mannequin apparel according to company standards.
Handle additional responsibilities as needed.
