About The Position

This position involves constructing linear programming models and developing an evaluation model to assess solutions for specific scheduling issues. The role requires assigning penalty standards to correct results by weighting penalty terms, and providing initial values and relatively optimal solutions to test the evaluation model. This is a security-sensitive position subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which allows UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.

Requirements

  • Working on a terminal degree.
  • No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Construct linear programming models.
  • Construct an evaluation model to evaluate given solutions according to demanding in a specific scheduling issues.
  • Assign penalty standards to correct results by weighting penalty terms.
  • Provide initial value and relatively optimal solution to test the evaluation model.
