Requirements

• Working on a terminal degree
• Minimum 1 year of experience

Responsibilities

• Candidate will be working on development of computational models for the group of patients with single-ventricle heart disease.
• Specific methods to be advanced include: modeling of flow in large vessels when interacting with cardiovascular MRI data; “in silico” (by computations) optimization of geometry in the total cavopulmonary connection; modeling of whole closed-loop simulations for the patients with single-ventricle heart disease and Fontan circulation.
• Specific implementations within the OpenSource library PhysioBlocks (for biomechanical computational modeling) related to the patients with the single-ventricle heart disease and Fontan circulation; closed-loop circulation model.
• The candidate will also contribute to scientific presentations and publications in scientific journals.
