About The Position

The Visitation Coordinator coordinates visitation services for abused or neglected children in foster care and their families. The role includes creating and maintaining visitation schedules; training visitation specialists; transporting children and/or parents; and supervising visits at family homes, the agency, or other designated community locations, including correctional facilities. The coordinator and visitation staff observe parent-child interactions, provide parenting coaching and intervention, document visit progress for case records, and provide sibling-visit transportation and supervision as needed. After a successful orientation period, duties may be performed in a flexible hybrid remote/in-office arrangement.
