About The Position

Fullmind partners with hundreds of U.S. schools to help ensure every child has access to education by filling teacher vacancies with certified educators who deliver instruction remotely. The Virtual Speech Language Pathologist provides telehealth speech-language pathology services to K–12 students, following the school district’s calendar. Assignments are available for the 2026–27 school year, with immediate start dates depending on placement availability after completing the application process. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. The role is fully remote, with flexible hours depending on the assignment. Pay is $40–$65+ per hour based on experience, and rates are negotiable.

Requirements

Valid state SLP license.
Active ASHA certification.
Good standing with no disciplinary actions on any license held.
Experience using telehealth platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school/IEP context.
Reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup, including a webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private, distraction-free workspace.
Comfort collaborating remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families.
Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, high-quality telehealth speech-language pathology services and build rapport with students.
Evaluate students’ speech and language levels and translate findings into clear, actionable goals.
Design and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s IEP.
Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals in accordance with district requirements.
Collaborate with school-based staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators to align on student progress.
