About The Position

This is a remote position. We are hiring a Part-Time Legal Intake Specialist to join our virtual call center team. No legal experience is required as we will provide all necessary training. The ideal candidate should be tech-savvy, quick-thinking, enjoy helping people, and possess strong phone communication skills. This role operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude. We are a boutique virtual receptionist service for law firms in the United States and Canada, serving as the first impression and voice of their firms. Our clients invest in our services to provide a world-class customer service experience, making the Legal Intake Specialist role crucial to our company's success. Specialists go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service by following detailed call handling instructions, scheduling appointments, answering frequently asked questions, taking messages, and transferring calls.

Requirements

Must reside in AZ, NV, PA, or TX

Type a minimum of 45 words per minute
Availability Monday–Friday, 25 hours/week minimum; full-time shifts also available
Availability between 5:00am-5:00pm PST (5-hour or 8-hour shifts daily)
Training schedule is full-time for 2 weeks, Monday-Friday from 6:00am-2:30pm PST
Reliable, high-speed internet (100+ Mbps — no hotspots or WiFi. CenturyLink, Verizon, & T-Mobile are banned providers.)
Wired Ethernet connection required
Quiet, distraction-free home office (background noise may lead to termination)

Responsibilities

Answer 80-120 calls per 8-hour shift in a fast-paced, fully remote environment
Support 60+ different law firms with varying needs and expectations
Schedule appointments, transfer calls, take messages, and answer FAQs
Adapt quickly to unique call situations
Communicate with the team in real time via internal chat
