About The Position
This is a fully remote, 1099 contract opportunity for an Elementary Case Manager/Compliance Coordinator. The role involves managing approximately 55 IEPs and 12 504s. The position follows the school district's calendar and has an immediate start date based on available placement opportunities after completing the application process. Fullmind partners with schools to fill teacher vacancies by providing certified educators for virtual instruction. As a Fullmind educator, you will deliver virtual instruction and guide students to course completion.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have a current Connecticut teacher certification in Special Education (Elementary).
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
- Must have a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
- Must complete the recruitment process and submit a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Prior online teaching experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage approximately 55 IEPs and 12 504s.
- Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment.
- Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships.
- Create lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum.
- Keep track of student grades and performance.
